No its not about free money. Its about equality in representation, of which the people have none and the corporations have much, skewing the interests in favor of corporations when the government creates policies.

Where is the occupy Hollywood movement? They make millions a year to repeat a script they didn't write and then give themselves awards each year just so they feel better about their lives... and then claim to understand the "little people"...

Where is the occupy professional sports? These guys make millions of dollars a year to play a game.. and the jokers that play basketball complain that they aren't getting their fair share...

Remember the "1%" are not only on wall street

I agree sports players get paid way too much. All we have to do is turn off our TV or not go to a stadium, so its on us to say em. There is a huge difference between passive and active 1% though. Sports stars and movie actors (besides a few) rarely make political decisions that affect millions. Like I said its not about the money for me, its about our government creating insane ass policies like lending out 7.7 trillion to foreign and domestic banks (not TARP) or letting Military detain US citizens indefinitely. I highly doubt Albert Pujols had anything to do with those.


And lastly, does that last line have double meaning? LOL

Last I checked Wall Street is private sector and not an elected position in congress therefore they don't make ANY political decisions that effect millions. Occupy is dumb. occupying a store where no employee knows anything, will do nothing.

I think many people on this forum do not understand what trolling is, and it is becoming a term that just gets thrown out whenever someone posts something they disagree with. Don't buy into irrational conspiracy theories? TROLL!!! etc....

So what your saying is that in your forum rule you used the word troll, had a personal attack against violators of your "rules", and had to use the search button to find this thread regarding the negative behaviors. Just saying...

After reading these GN posts for weeks...it seems a lot of these guys will be "pitching a tent" when it finally comes out...;-)

As the 1%--it galls me that people are so gung ho to pay FULL RETAIL (+/-$700.00) for a phone, just to get it FIRST or off-contract when there are people who don't have food, or clothes. Let's be honest: None of us NEED these smart phones...Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Dinc, yet somehow the wheels of industry turned just fine before smartphones. We cooked food before microwaves. We got along before computers. We loved TV before HD...let's get some perspective. Imagine if people put the type of time, energy and $$$ into charity, or cancer research, or schools, or fire/police departments, libraries, etc.

It. Is. A. Phone.

Really, just an expensive toy to most. A business companion to others (those I challenge to have business-only related apps on their phones--then you can truly claim it as a business expense on your taxes) Not trying to sound judgemental, I want to upgrade myself when I can, and I get the frustration. But really...this seems like a lot of emotional energy, intellectual speculation, and time spent over some plastic and circuit boards that you lived without in blissful ignorance not too long ago, and will be obsolete in short time anyway.
