I say anyone who wants an M8 now, get one while you can. It makes absolutely no sense to hold out for the later model device (unless you know everything about and want it). If you like what the M8 offers as a device and it suits all of your needs then take the plunge. New device model updates are not as dramatic as they once were. The M8 is 6 months old but not even close to being obsolete. It will last 2 years and beyond if you need it to. I have had my M8 almost two months and the M9 rumors where swirling then. However I did not let that keep me from purchasing a device that I liked and was available. When the M9 is released, if I find it to be a device I like and want then I'll buy it at the time. Until then no new model on the horizon is going to keep me from purchasing a device that I like, is available and would suit my immediate needs perfectly...
