October Security Update

Went into my settings and searched for security update. (Settings > System > Advanced > System Update > Check for Update)

Found the October security update was available and downloaded it. It was 8.02MB in size and took about 16 minutes to install.

I know there were some people complaining back in August that Pixel 5a, released on August 26th, was still running on a June update. Pixel 5a did receive the September update on schedule and with the availability of the October update it looks like the Pixel 5a is on regular monthly updates.

That's so awesome to hear! So happy that you got the update for your Pixel 5a and that updates are seeking to be timely! Hopefully Pixel 5's get the update soon, too!
