October update is available.

Downloaded and installed on my Pixel 6 on T-Mobile.

I have noticed since this update that I can no longer use Assistant Voice Typing mode in Gboard. I'm unable to toggle that on, with a message that says "Google Assistant has been turned off by your Google Workspace admin." But my Gmail account is not set up with Google Workspace. Anyone else seeing this?

If only Google designed their own hardware to work smoothly with their software.....

It's working fine for me.

For those who post about downloading, could you let us know what carrier and where in the country

Things that I've noticed about the October update.
The fingerprint scanner is working better than ever.
The battery life is the best it's been.
Everything seems to be very smooth and fast.

I'm on the quarterly feature drop beta and received an update today.

Well, after several hours with Google support, they fell back to the "hard reset your device." But I've got to say, it worked! Assistant voice typing appears to be working now.

Something I've noticed since the update. My notifications in the upper right corner will disappear until I hit the home button.

When you turn on your new device for the first time, some apps will already be installed. Some of these apps are essential for your device to run correctly and cannot be uninstalled or disabled.
