First time poster here. So I've been playing around with my phone and getting more in tune with setting up custom ringtones for certain contacts, etc. I've successfully gotten that far, and have since downloaded a custom notification for my text messages. I would just as soon have the same sound play for all texts, because it's not necessary for me to have different alerts for different people. The problem I'm encountering is that while the system is playing the custom sound I have uploaded, immediately afterwards it's ALSO playing the default tone (Proximo or something like that---it's the standard chime that comes pre-loaded to notify users of everything out of the box). Any ideas on where I've double-selected this to happen? As of now, I've gone Settings>Sound>Default Notification Sound>Custom Sound File, and then gone into Messaging>Settings>Notifications>Sound>Custom Sound File.
It's all drawing correctly from the right directory, but for some reason the system is STILL playing the factory-loaded sound AFTER it's played my custom one. Just kind of irritating. Anyone else have this issue?
