Odd notification Issue (Particularly FB)

This morning I woke up, posted a funny status on FB, and then went about my day.

However when I got back to my computer I had 2 notifications on Facebook.com (one being the "XYZ Liked your status" the other being "ZYX Commented on your status") but the comment one was never pushed to my phone like they usually are. Does anyone know why this would happen? I've rebooted my phone and with other comments still no notifications on my phone.

The facebook app is all kinds of screwed up. Even the freshly steaming version 1.6.1 that came out just over a week ago appears to have problems.

All I can say is that I'm thankful that I'm not facebook user. My wife has complained about it since we got our phones.

I think the best way to get proper functionality on the phone is simply to access the acct via your web browser.

Please post if you have found a better solution.

I hear you that the app sucks. Just odd it stopped working suddenly

The Facebook app is poorly coded and will stop and weird things out of the blue. And then work fine the next day.
