Odd question, is Pixel Android Auto capable?

I didn't see that mentioned with the release. I've got my Chevy Spark 2016 and I use it with my Nexus 6P all the time. I love Android Auto.

I have the original Droid Turbo on Lollipop and it won't hook up correctly to Android Auto (running kit kat)

Maybe I read that wrong but if you're running kit Kat, then you're not on lollipop. My OG turbo running lollipop runs perfectly on Android auto.
