Odd screen error - and fix

I was playing around with videos over HDMI and ran into a quirk, but I don't know if it's repeatable (it may involve powering off the HDMI monitor while the X's media player is in HDMI mode). On using the return/escape key to get out of the media player app the X's screen displayed just a pink static rather than the home screen. The quick fix, should it happen to you, is just to open the camera application. That reset the screen and things are just fine again.
