I am unable to use Odin to install CWM, it won't detect my phone. I've installed / removed / reinstalled samsung drivers and still nothing. This is on 2 different winxp computers. it is an 'unknown device' under 'Universal serial bus controllers' in device manager when it is in DL mode. ADB works fine w/ phone booted up. I noticed the various directories under: C:\program files\samsung... but I wouldn't know which one to use for a driver. Is anyone else having this problem?

drivers used: SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_x86.exe
Verizon Fascinate, rooted, had Ryan's lag fix but since removed.

thank you for any help,

You don't happen to be running 64 bit Windows xp by chance? The driver you listed is the one I'm using, but I'm on 7. If you have a 64 bit machine, you will need a different driver.

That's about the only thing I can come up with. If I think of any thing else I'll add it.

No, they are 32 bit computers. :o thank you though. I think I saw something somewhere stating that some phones just will not go into DL mode. I hope I don't have one of those.but it does go into DL, I get the triangle & "do not turn off target".
