Hello
I am trying to transfer data (Whatsapp) from an iPhone to a Galaxy S4 via the computer using USB connections. I have downloaded both Jihosoft and DrPhone trial software to see which will transfer the whatsapp data best. I found that neither would pick up the Galaxy. I have been down the routes to load the Samsung S driver for Win 7 and I can get the PC to see the Galaxy. However as soon as I plug in the iPhone it kicks out the Galaxy. If I unplug the iPhone and try plugging the Galaxy back in the PC doesn't pick it up. No messages come up trying to detect the Galaxy but the PC keeps "pinging" which sounds like retries.
When the Galaxy is connected on it's own the driver is displayed correctly in the Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers
When the iPhone is plugged in the driver for the iPhone replaces the Samsung Driver under Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
What is stopping both USB drivers running?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't know for sure, but I would guess this is on purpose. It would be confusing for more than one media device to be plugged in at the same time, because then the computer wouldn't know which device to sync with Windows Media Player, for example.

Do you have to link them together in real time? Is it possible to copy over the data from the iPhone to the computer first, and then connect the S4 to the PC and copy that data over? Although I suppose Apple's requirement that you use iTunes to access anything on the phone might make this difficult.:-\

What if you backup your chats to Google Drive on the iPhone, then restore them to the S4? https://faq.whatsapp.com/en/android/28000019/?category=5245251
