Official AC messaging app

Ok so i know theres been a whole bunch of "Try this messaging app" threads out there. I've heard about kik, gtalk (obviously), liveprofile, tikl, tango, and macarena.

So what I want to know is... what have we all decided on. Although the forum is a great way for us to communicate and share, it's nice to be able to shout out to someone on the fly through a messaging service. Question is, which one should we go with, or are we going with?

And don't say why not use all of them. It's not practical to have multiple messaging apps running. I'm sure we don't want to be contacted THAT bad.

I think it should something majority of the highly active members on here agree on using. For the most part it seems that there are far and few who are always on the forum offering help, advice, tips, and guidance. And since it's those same few I think they (we) should be communicating together on and off the forum.

The idea of reaching out and communicating to each other on shall we say more personal level is great, I love the idea.

The only thing is with so many different apps out there and so many different individuals tastes it becomes rather hard to break it down to just one app and say "Ok, let's everyone use this" But hey, that doesn't mean it can't be accomplished by any means.

Personally, I'm fond of Kik as it works quite nicely across platforms such as Android, BlackBerry and iPhone.

As a short term solution you could use Tapatalk. They recently added PM support - so you can communicate to members via PM on your phone, and get notifications of new PMs just like you would text messages.

i dont really use anything besides txt.

sometimes Gtalk, but other then that nothing really.

i use Tapatalk Pro for the forums.

i use gtalk and as a standby for those times when gtalk sucks liveprofile.
