Official area for screen complaints

How convenient. "Not going to attempt to cite sources"? So you have no proof to backup your claim, making your point moot & useless. You have no evidence that's not complete speculation.

Also, what reviews have you been reading? What reliable sources have addressed this in a review besides your pet goldfish?

Oh boy....

How about doing some research on your own then?

Try open the file /system/etc/gps.conf. See if you can spot something interesting under the AGPS server settings section. There are other examples, I will leave them to you to discover.

Anyway, back on topic. My phone does flicker, but I have never seen it turn white completely... Not for the lack of trying either. Flicker doesn't bother me that much, but white out would probably drive me to a return/exchange.

Ah, cuz mine only flickers when in auto mode. I figured it was the phones trying to decide between 2 brightness' based off the ambient light and not figuring out which one to go with

"sportsinger75 Lol, love it. I have heard nothing that confirms that it was made by Huawei, but it does look an awful lot like the X6. There are some striking differences, however. Mainly some if the design. Either way, who cares anyways? Aside from some of the bugs already reported, we've got a great phone on a dirt cheap carrier."

It took me less than 6 seconds to find some proof guys! How about doing a little research of your own.... you will be amazed of all the info out there on this subject......;)

Well, I'm off to BB to exchange my triumph to my 3rd one. First one had dust under the display, and this one has a dead black pixel and not very good screen response and the sometimes non responsive back button and screen flicker

I left the protective plastic on it from the box (as purchased). Could that be why I find the screen "clunky"? i.e. it takes an overly solid touch to respond. It seems to miss touches sometimes, or pause 1 or two seconds to "wake up" to touches. I bought an Optimus V at the same time to compare side by side and I love it's screen and responsiveness in comparison...
