Post your build date of your phone (located under your battery 10.xx where xx is month of build) and quality of battery life / screen issues / capacitive buttons / keyboard / anything else you can think of.

I'll start first..

10.07 (July device)
-Awful battery life 5-6 hours with moderate use, less with heavy. 9-10 hours with minimal use.
-no issues with screen separation
-cap buttons are ok, sometimes requires more than one push
-keyboard is a bit mushy, misses some keypresses but not sure if that's me typing too fast.
-lags a little on home screen refresh widgets, more than my hero did with CM6 (shocker eh) and I'm using ADW.

10.08 (August device)
-Great Battery
-No screen separation
-Cap buttons work as advertised, no issues there
-Keyboard is decent (not perfect, but not anything I would complain about)
-Minimal lag on screen refreshes. Running stock unrooted and Touchwiz.
-Slow network speeds, yet faster time from download to install for apps and downloads for files (weird!).
-No 4G... not the phones fault.
-Better GPS than Hero, not kidding, instant lock for me.

10.8 phone date, 10.7 battery

-Battery life seems pretty decent.
-no screen separation issues.
-cap buttons sometimes require more than one push..especially the back button. Back button definitely is less responsive than the others.
-led indicator blinks only for minute or so then shuts off when mssg received.(more of a software issue)
-keyboard seems pretty responsive. no main issues.
-there is some minimal screen lag when backing out of some of the applications. Almost seems for a split second you can see both layers of the screen, the one you are in and closing and the one you are going to.

where do i find this info..all i got is build number eclair.dg27

I stated when in the original post (pull out your battery, underneath with the sticker with the ESN numbers); on the right hand side in the middle look for 10.xx where the xx with either be 07 or 08.

10.7

Battery life is decent... get about 12 hours or so on medium usage.

GPS is god awful. Can't even use navigation.

Keyboard seems decent, and cap buttons are a little stubborn.

No screen separation, overall build quality is excellent.

No noticeable lag on homescreen.

10.08 device, 10.07.30 battery.
Battery life is average, 5-6 moderate to heavy use
Bad back and menu buttons that have slightly improved since initial purchase
No lag or keyboard issues in my opinion
Top half slider is loose when extended. I get an up and down loose "rattle"
Power button is terrible, requires waaayy too much effort to press.

Going for a replacement tomorrow.

Battery is aug 6, device is august.

Battery sucks, capcitive buttons are meh. I think they are mor responsive now than what they used to be. Buikd quality, gps and display are fantastic.

I had a bit of something on thecontacts of my microsd card, which caused me quite abit of trouble the first couple of days, but I found it and got rid of it.

Screen Separation. (Epics #1&2)

I'll be completely honest. No other issues and I mean it! The third Epic is that phone that everyone was hoping for. Not joking.

I never bothered to look at the dates on my previous two Epics but my third one that is working fine was built in 7/10. Can't tell you about the battery yet cause I just got the third one today so we will see.

Oops, looks like I got issues with GPS on Google Maps. It doesn't pick up my location at all. However, Sprint Nav does quickly and perfectly.

EDIT: Wait, I'm on the bottom floor of my house. I'll try outside again tomorrow to see if it really is an issue.

Phone 10-08 Battery 7/26/10

Capacitive buttons are fine ,no issues
No screen seperation
Battery live bad. took it through 3 cycles , full charge in 2.5 hours
phone off charger 12 hours 9/4/10 gps use 15 mins , minimum use .
battery died overnight.
keyboard good no issues.
Gps on google bad,on sprint nav better.(Blue circle is smaller on Sprint nav)
Sliding door covering the micro USB charge does not stay closed.
/\/\/\ minor issue for me .

10.08 Device & 10.05 battery: Pretty good device. I noticed yesterday that the, device froze & went black on me abouf 3 times. Don't know if its a hardware or software issue. I removed a widget & plan to watch it closely today before exchanging it bcz, other than that the unit is sound (considering everyone elses complaints).
Battery is decent. I haven't figured out how many hours I can go w/o charging as I plug it in when it gets around 50% (about 4 hrs of active use).
I'm new to this OS so I'm still figuring out this toy. :)

10.07 (July device)

-Battery life is 4-5 hours with moderate use, and takes up to 4 hours to fully charge.
-no screen separation
-capacitive buttons are fine
-keyboard is fine
-deleted Widgets off of all 7 TW home screens, added launcher pro, and adjusted LP settings to the most optimal and it flies as fast as humanly possible.
-AGPS is okay, satellite GPS takes FOREVER to lock, making life miserable when using maps for accurate turn by turn directions (this could be the one thing that kills my Epic buzz).
-while holding the phone in a portrait position, with the keyboard closed, the top half is a little loose compared to the first Epic I had.
-WiFi is so-so compared to my Droid X. Sometimes it drops the connection just 2 rooms away.

Really its the satellite GPS that I'm most concerned about. Like I said AGPS seems okay, but that's not good enough for navigation.

Can you explain what you mean by screen separation? I think I might have it. When I hold my phone upright and make screen selections you can notice the top half of the phone is loose and every time I tap on the screen the top half "clacks " against the bottom half.

10.08, 24.07 battery

--Cap. buttons are great... no double taps needed
--Keyboard is good other than me fat fingering additional keys. I think this may attributed to me being so used to the pre's keyboard.
-- So, so battery life on second batter. I had Sprint test my first battery and they said it was mediocre at best. The jury is still on on this new battery.
-- minimal lag on widget refresh

Are you sure its not just the top half of the phone hitting the keyboard. There is a little play there.
