Do this and it will

1 - Go to the Market and download the app: MSL Reader
2 - Use this app to get your MSL # (mine was six digits)
2 - Flash to any Sense ROM
3 - Launch phone dialer and dial ##GPSCLRX# (##4772579#)
4 - Enter the MSL Number from above
5 - Your phone will automatically reboot in 10 seconds
6 - Still in Sense, go to maps and let it lock. Go into recovery.
7 - Flash CM7
7 - Hopefully this fixed your GPS!

make sure you leave GPS on when you exit out of sense. I think this was the key for me.

alright thanks. ill try this with a newer build in the feature i dont really use my gps xD but still, i want it working! -_-

Does anyone know if there is a working Sprint VVM for CM7 (and where to get it)? The one i have keeps saying it is timing out trying to authorize my account with the sprint servers.

This doesn't answer your question, but I found Youmail to be a great alternative.

question i rooted my gfs evo with unrevoked and the clockwork recovery image. if i want to try one of these nightly builds how do i do that? we have the rom manager on the phone now. any help

I also rooted with unrevoked. I would clear cache and davlik and then flash the nightly via ROM Manager Premium. That is how I've done and I'm currently on Nightly Build #8.

Is there any word when the HDMI will be up and running on CM7, cause I would love to try that FullHDMI app that mirrors the Evo screen onto an external display using the HDMI port on the phone.

I think that only works with a Sense based ROM.
