Official iPhone and iWatch Thread

1. I was surprised that Apple is finally putting 1080p screens on their phones.

2. The Apple Watch is ugly. At least in my opinion.

3. Also, $349 for a smartwatch! That is absolutely insane!

4. I think Apple could have done a better job on the camera. It is protruding out the back of the phone, which means it will probably get scratched easily.

1. Agree
2. Agree
3. Agree
4. Disagree. It's coated in Sapphire, so it is very difficult to scratch. And it's not protruding TOO much. The one on my S4 sticks out more and the lens is fine.

I prefer the design of the iPhone 5s over the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but at least the newer iPhones have 128 GB storage options.

I'm curious how effective the one-handed mode ("reachability") will be. For example, will it help with texting or writing emails? I'd like to see it in action first.

I'd like to hear more about the Wi-Fi calling features. I know other phones have had them before, but you needed to get carrier-branded phones. From what I checked online, it looks like T-Mobile (USA) and EE (UK) will be the first to launch Wi-Fi calling for the iPhone.

The Apple Watch looks chunky, but it's not really a big issue because I'm still trying to get used to the idea of smart watches in the first place.

On an unrelated note, I hope Apple releases a Google Glass competitor one of these days. I would like to see what they come up with.

1-4 I agree with.

The only version of the iPhone I am interested in is the 6 Plus 128GB. That phone will last 3 years easy. If I was wealthy enough I would get it for the battery life and storage and the fact it will last a whole contract and then some. I am super envious of people who can upgrade this fall, you have a wealth in devices to choose. Once the Nexus hits all phones will be out then
