Does anyone here have this yet to give a review. Thinking about getting it but not sure. It is pretty expensive.

Lol,, those mounts are lame. I'll need to post pics of the kensington dock I got. And as 81 pointed out, you can't use the SD card? ROFL.

The no SD mount is an issue the Evo is having it's not specific to this dock. Plus I find that if your card wont mount that you just need to unplug and then replug and choose charge only and the it will re-mount the card

I got me a Bracketron grip-it universal mobile device holder pro series...for 20 bucks at advanced auto parts.I'm happy with it.... oh and it works with my silicone case. My phone isn't going anywhere...

It's much sleeker than HTC's offering and certainly better than a lot of the universals with those massive clamps. It doesn't work with my Sprint silicone case though, but that's not a deal breaker at all as I'd rather it NOT be in a case.

Also comes with a vent mount. I'll have to take pics this weekend though, because it looks much better in use.

I saw this earlier got excited and then read the bit about the SD card not being available when it's using the dock. Completely useless for me considering I constantly listen to podcast and music when using my Evo in the car. Huge disappointment.

Right now I just plug in an 3.5mm jack that's run through my AUX in my stereo and set it in my cup holder. This works well but a dock would be nice.

I understand no cord no problem. I too have plenty laying around.. but for $60 you would think it would come with a cord. To me a power cord should be standard equipment on a dock like this.... If it didn't plug up to the Micro USB port and block access to that I could understand.. but since it plugs up and the whole point (at least to me) in having a car kit made specifically for the EVO would be to have the option of charging the phone while in my car....

Not coming with a charging cable (to me) would be like buying a brand new car and then being told you had to buy the tires or go get some you had laying around..

The SD card thing sounds like some thing that could be fixed via software update. it would be nice to have the option to plug it up and listen to music from your play list....

Could you access Pandora or Slacker radio once it's loaded into the dock?

The 3.5mm jack apparently still works, the SD card is readable by the phone. It's mounting the phone as a disk drive that is not an option. Certain car stereos can accept USB storage devices as well as CD's as media. Unless you have one of those stereos and use USB storage then you should be fine.

So I'm guessing this mount will not work with any sort of case? I am using the Case-Mate Barely there case.

This is the one I have and my EVO with case fits perfect, and vent mount is strong no movement on bumpy roads.

You have to physically go to a Sprint store and have them order it.... My local Sprint store could order it but didn't physically have it in stock and I tried 3 or 4 different Sprint stores and they all told me the same thing... It's in the warehouse and they can order it but no stock physically on the shelf...

I had to give the guy a SKU # KPH6786Q and they order it... Took 4 days to come in and works pretty good so far.....

I think it's mildly over priced but it's pretty solid and holds the phone good and tight..... Suction cup seems to be very strong... GPS/Navigation is good...

I just got the dock today. I agree is overpriced, for the money it should at least come with a wire kit to hardwire the dock into your car. It also has limited mobility for positioning.

Go mine yesterday works ok, but like you said "limited mobility for positioning" is my only issue.

Regarding the price sprint will give you 25% off if you are premier customer which helps a little.
