Official Twitter app keeping phone awake?

So recently I decided to switch back to the official Twitter app, and I like it. It's quick and the UI is nice and has some decent features that Tweetdeck doesn't offer. I like to make sure I get replies quick, so I set the app to refresh every 5 minutes (had it set to 3 minutes on TweetDeck). However, it seems that from the first time it refreshes, it keeps my phone awake. Does anyone have this problem? I've switched back to TweetDeck for now, but I'd love to switch back to the official app if I can.
