Weird! I wonder what the difference is. Are you a new Verizon customer, or were you upgrading, etc.? When I was going through the checkout process, it was just automatically Free 2-Day Shipping. No option otherwise.

Same for me to. I pre ordered mine on Verizon Wireless as I'm a current customer and it said free 2 day shipping so I'm frazzled at that. Can you post a pic of your receipt?

I don't understand the pre order thing. Every phone I ever bought,, including my note 3,,on launch day I just go to my local sprint store and buy one. Always have them.

I pre-order because I get it at least a day before people who go to the store, I don't have to drive to the store, wait in line and have to deal with the ***** sales people who don't know anything.

It'll say two day but once it ships it'll have the delivery date for the release of the phone so they'll either ship it two days before or just ship it with overnight. Not really a big deal to worry about

If I recall correctly Sprint was the last carrier to announce the release date for the Note 3. Is it just me or Sprint behind the ball on announcements? Haha hopefully they get it sooner than the other 3.

According to the news from AC, Verison and AT&T are accepting pre-orders today, T-Mobile on the 24th and Sprint on the 26th. The official release date is 10/17. So it looks like the 10/3 release speculation won't hold.

I called vz and ordered mine at 6am yesterday and paid for overnight shipping. I don't believe that's offered when you order online. I don't know of anyone who has ship by date of the 17h. The shipping date is confusing as well.

Verizon shipping date

I preordered early early yesterday morning (9/19) and my shipping date says AVAILABLE Oct. 23. The little arrow beside this reads all dates are approximate and an estimate.
I haven't heard of anyone getting the 17th shipping date. The iPhone 6 says SHIP BY date. Kind of confusing. In years past, my preorders usually arrived early, but I dont remember seeing an AVAILABLE date.

The release date is the release date. You will get them on that date, regardless of the shipping method. If I'm not mistaken, all Note 3's delivered on the same date. Maybe if you are close enough to one of their distribution centers it might only take 1 day to get to you.

Best Buy offer $200 gift card with preorder

Looking for different preorder bonuses, i found best buy to be offering a $200 gift card when trading in a smartphone towards a preorder for the note 4. Wondering if this would be $200 on top of whatever amount they give you for your trade in or its just a $200 gift card for the trade in. Either way could be better getting an instant $200 for a trade in versus the samsung offer and getting a check for the difference in the mail. They currently only have AT&T, so holding out till the Verizon version is up.

The way I read it is that any working smartphone. Too bad my HTC One well go for more than that on eBay. Or else I'd take advantage of that.
