I think most of them are pluses. I walked by an apple store in the mall yesterday and people still lining up to buy the iphone 6 plus. I asked the store rep and she said their store have the regular iphone 6 in stock, but all pluses are out of stock and it takes 3-4 weeks for pre-order.

I made a joke and said, "I used all the new features in iPhone 6 3 years ago on my galaxy Note". She smiles and replied, "look at the line, they're apple's loyal customers". That was a good customer/sale rep

No, we don't know the breakdown of these sold, but to begin with, there were fewer 6 plus phones available than 6's.

I have a feeling that more of the 6 's were sold, primarily because of 6 plus supply limitations and not just because of greater demand. While 10 million phones is a new 3 day release record for Apple (last year's was 9 million with a disappointing 5s), imagine how many phones they could have sold, had they had more of a 6 plus supply!

Still, people are standing in line for the 6, which for a lot of Apple loyal customers is still a big phone and costs a lot less than the 6 plus. Only if Samsung thinks even these potential 6 purchasers could be swayed to buy the N4, would releasing the N4 earlier possibly make a difference.

Maybe plus will be apples number 1 like the note is for Samsung

The Note has been Samsung's flagship phone as far as having the most features, but it doesn't out sell the smaller, less expensive S4 or S5.

Well that date is set for Samsung’s local market in Korea, but we have to consider shipping methods to the states. It may possibly mean receiveing our devices sometime earlier but I doubt anytime in September.

U.S carriers have already announced their dates of the 17th with the exception of Verizon which will be coming on Oct 26 . I don't think saying that the Note 4 coming 1 day before T-Mobile's announcement will affect anyone.

Lets say we forget about that article today about it coming out early in Korea. What about the release date here in the states for Verizon? Their website says ships by Oct 23rd. Ive heard people saying the launch is Oct 26th, and then Ive also heard Oct 17th. Has anyone heard anything credible?

I guess people are confuse about the trade in value of their phone.
You are NOT getting $200 for ANY smart phone you trade in.
Let say they appraise your phone samsung s3 at $80, samsung will double that = $160. If my crappy old smart phone worth $20, i'll get $40; if your note 2/3 worth $190 you'll get $200....from Samsung.

I read an article from cnet confirming korea's launch date, they said it may possibly lead to an early october launch in the states. So far though none of the dates mentioned are official. The 17th was supposedly the official date for the US but never confirmed by samsung. Samsung is supposed to announce the official dates within the next day or so. They will be haveing a release date party in korea whatever day that may be. By then we should have a solid date in the US.
