Official Yahoo Mail App Issues

My wife has a Droid Pro running the Gingerbread that I loaded from the link on the forums. Everything seems to work well but the Official Yahoo Mail App. This past week it would work fine but then she would get a mail notification of old mail she has, but it would repeat every second or half second until you uninstalled the app. The phone would just sit there and vibrate constantly repeating the old mail notifications. So we uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the market. Well it worked for a few days until this morning it started the notifications again. Again they were consistant and would not stop until we deleted the app.

Anyone else run into these problems? Any ideas? I know I can use the stock mail app but she likes the interface of Yahoo's app.
