officially unofficial I love my bionic thread

I have to say that I love my Bionic too!! I was a Sprint customer for 11 years, so this is my first Verizon device and all I can say is WOW!! It does everything I need my device to do. I am usually around wifi and have access to a charger most of the time, so the stock battery serves me well. Now I'm going to go and take advantage of the double data plan and I should be all set. :D

First post, picked up a bionic on Saturday and coming from a Blackberry I am wondering why I put up with it for so long. I quit using the browser on the BBerry because it seems like it never finishes loading. The 4g on the bionic is just fast, matter a fact everything this phone does is fast compared to the old berry. I'm very happy with my purchase but need to find an extended battery for it.

Bumping this thread to stop the hate! Come on guys and gals, lets hear from the happy owners out there. I'm getting tired of all this complaining on here...

Best phone I've ever owned, even better rooted and rommed!!!!

All this hate is not good for my soul. It seems that coming to this forum everyday I see only hate toward this phone. I love this phone. It is fast. It is comfortable. I never have issues with it mysteriously turning itself on or off. Black screens are only there when it is locked. My battery lasts all day off the charger with room to spare. My phone does not scratch easily. I do not get scratchy sound when I use my headphones. My phone rings when I get a call. My 4G is faster than wifi and I don't have to restart it all day long. My screen is not too pixelated for me to see. The camera takes good enough pictures when I am on the go. I get good video when I use my video camera. My buttons on my phone are not as yellow as a smokers teeth. I never have complaints that someone can't hear me on my phone.

Man, have I made my point? This phone does what I want and exceeds the expectations I put on it. My expectations were extremely high. I treat it well and it works like a champ. I don't need to root because I don't need to experiment with software. I am happy here and don't care if 3 razr phones are released. I picked you Droid Bionic. You have done everything I need and I am extremely happy.

Post in this thread if you love this phone! I love this phone!
I agree with everything except the bolded parts. It takes way too long to focus. I like my phone.

I love the Bionic! I was a little disappointed when the Razr came out so soon after, but after seeing it in person, I'm glad I got the Bionic.

I was in the Verizon store the other day with my brother-in-law (he was picking up a tablet) and I got my first hands-on with the Razr...I'm not knocking the phone, but it confirmed my Bionic purchase even more so. I just like the look/feel of the Bionic better. I do NOT like the chrome Moto plaque (it looks cheap to me) and I like being able to remove my battery.

I'm also quite content with my DB. It's reliable, stable, great screen, fast, perfect size and looks very smart! Looking forward to ICS - that's exciting and I'm sure it will transform the DB from great to terrific!! So glad it's on the list to get it.

Well...I joined Android central tonight just so I can share my Bionic experience thus far. I got my Bionic the day after it was released on Sept. 9. I had been waiting for this thing to release ever since the rumors started flying over a year before. When I got my Bionic I was so happy with all the power that came with it (remember that "Power corrupts...absolute power corrupts absolutely") The one and only issue I had a complaint about is the standard battery didn't last worth a crap. I am an I.T. tech for a school district here in Az. so I do alot from my phone. by 3:00 in the afternoon it was DEAD!. I decided very quickly to get the extended battery and it helped tremendously...It now lasted till 10:00 at night before it would die. Well.....unfortunately last Thursday(Thanksgiving) Wi-Fi died & I mean DIED! "error" on turning on, and MAC address was "unavailable" which is just BAD. I had done 4 master resets and tried reloading the Wi-Fi which I guess is done by #*#*526*#*#. Nothing helped so I took it back to Costco and returned it to get another. Other than the manager @ Costco being a ! I got the new phone for $100.00 cheaper. Today was the first day back @ work with the new phone and the battery is still around 90% charged!!!! I guess there was something wrong with the other phone from the get go soooo now I am happy with the battery life and I might not have even needed an extended battery to begin with.
