Hi everyone. I'm coming off a Lg G Watch and I want a nicer look to my smartwatch and I like the look of the Moto 360. Do you think it's worth paying $300 for the new model or just go for the original and pay $150. Thanx

My personal opinion, pay $150 now for an OG 360 and you'll probably be looking to upgrade it in a year. The current model will probably last two years. That being said, I can't see paying more than $200 for a smart watch.

FWIW though, I do love my 360. Gave my G watch to my son.

Do you find the OG 360 laggy at all?

No, not at all. Don't know if that will be the case a year from now. Or if it will be receiving updates 6 months from now. Such is the case with new technology.

The flat tire doesn't bother me. The ambient light sensor makes viewing my watch outside in bright sunlight possible, something I couldn't do with my G watch. Battery life averages 22 hours per day, all I really need is 18. All in all, I'm happy with it.

I currently use a LG G watch. How does the OG Moto 360 battery life compare to it. Because I usually get 2 days on the g watch.

Battery life is much less. But I don't sleep with my watch on, so I need only 18 hours. I average 22-27 hours. YMMV.

I have the old 360, and the battery life is quite unsatisfying. If I use it for much other than simply checking the time, the battery life usually won't last more than 18 hours or so. If I would you, I would buy the new 360 in the 46mm edition (the 42mm is just too small). The new 360 is supposed to have over 2 days of battery life, which basically guarantees you at least one day. As a side note, I recently sold my G Watch and bought a Zenwatch 2. The Zenwatch 2 gets me through a day with ambient screen and WiFi off. I currently own the Zenwatch 2 and an old 360 (I like to have a square and a round watch) and I mostly wear the Zenwatch 2 now because of the battery life.

not sure wht u don't like abt the GWR, but i had the og 360 and sold it to get lg. love that I can keep always on and at the end of the day still have like 60% battery. also felt og 360 was slow and quirky, random battery drains and restart. I didn't have anything fancy on it, only used for email and text.

The 2015 looks to have a better/faster processor, the band is easier to change, and IMHO I think it looks better.

But for what I'm using mine for, the 2014 model does the job and is 1/2 the price. :-)
