Hi there,

I think I might have done something stupid and looking for feedback from ya'all. Should I cancel this order?

I just purchased an S25 Ultra off eBay for under $400. I had the thought in my head "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

The seller has 98.5% stellar reviews, been a member since 2020 and located in TX. Looked at the reviews, only one dissatisfied customer in the past year. Has sold lots of electronic products. It's covered by the eBay warranty/guarantee which is the reason I caved and bought it.

Device is described as NEW, sealed in the box. But it says the screen size is 7.3 and I know the S25 screen is not that big but I figured it's likely just a typo. Wishful thinking?

The box they show is different than other S25 boxes I've seen, but Samsung could have changed it?

The description does not mention "Samsung" just S25 Ultra.

What do you guys think? Did I fall for a scam?

Thank you.

Deb

It sounds too good to be true
I would return it
Go to settings>about phone>status information scroll down to phone status does it say Official?
I don't have the phone yet, ordered it shortly before I posted here. I did then go back and sent a message to the seller and asked him if it's a Samsung phone. Waiting for a response now.

If they don't reply back soon I would be even more suspicious. After reading this thread as to what happened

To me, anything lower than 99% feedback on ebay is a no go for me.

This sounds like a counterfeit phone or a stolen phone given the cheap price.
I've actually had good luck on eBay. I don't buy from them often but my experiences have been positive. Obviously, one has to be careful and this was my own goof. Should have asked the seller before buying. But this turned out well even with my own mistake.
