Oh Yea. Just to let everyone know.....

Strange.. as I mentioned above, mine went from full Wifi to zero when touching the corner of my phone. That was at my mum's house though, but now I'm at home I've tried it again and the signal is totally unaffected.

Well then I'm glad to hear it isn't a problem on everyone's phone. It doesn't bother me but I laughed when I found it.

The death grip was a reference to the fact that your hand covered the antenna during normal use. It was just in a bad location.

Most phone's will have there "Spot" Its just a matter of putting that spot in a location thats least likely to affect operations.

Top corner = Much better spot than the sides lol

I tried over and over shame on me but I cannot get it to affect my signal at all

NEW INFORMATION: Going into your basement and covering your phone (and, consequently, yourself) with blankets and pillows, WHILE holding the corner, will cause you lose some signal strength.

Shocking development.

You're holding it wrong.

Totally agree. *cough* apple *cough* *cough* lol. But it is kinda awkward to grab. I just happened to notice when I was watching Netflix. It is just kind of a fore warning to not grab the corner.

Come on, that was blown out of proportion. My friends/coworkers that had that iPhone said hey got better reception, you had to shove the phone deep into the palm of your hand, and who holds their phone like that.

For you to have problems with these death grips though you must really hold the phone wrong since they are located on the corners of the phone.
Well phones have this thing nowadays, where you can use them in landscape mode. Landscape mode means sideways by the way. When you hold your phone in this orientation, you cover the corners of the device. But I don't know, I'm not a genius.

Watch the language please. Relax :)

Landscape usage is abnormal?

No it isn't, however I think we can agree the phone is used more in portrait than landscape. And when you use the phone in landscape, I question how you hold it. In order to cover that spot you either hold the phone really awkwardly or cover the speakers...

Or put your thumbs on the bottom edge of the phone, and rest and curve your index fingers on the upper corners phone, or maybe that's also abnormal and super weird.

...or none of the above.

Imo... To NOT cover that spot when holding the phone in landscape is abnormal.
