oil mark?!

Forgot my Tab in the truck today. 100 degrees today, so I was worried I'd go back to find the dreaded splotch on my screen. Relieved to find nothing.

Hey just got it on my tab, seems it happens when I travel with my tab in my laptop bag, anyone notice this? Anyway to get rid of it?

My Verizon Tab has this now too. I have tried cooling it down but it always seems to come back. I'm definitely past my 14 days, so I may have to get aa refurbished one. Ugh.

Ok, guys.. I'm experiencing the same oil mark issue with my white 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (P7500 - 3G WiFi Version).

Frankly, I'm quite disappointed with Samsung.. This shouldn't be happening to a tablet which costs me nearly USD600. Apart from this issue, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is marvelous. I enjoy every bit of it except the oil mark.

Sadly.. The refund system is not something, we, Indonesian customers have here.. The tablet itself is not sold by the carriers here in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is sold freely without any contract. Samsung should be responsible for this as the warranty comes officially from Samsung (in Indonesia).

However, curiosity kills the cat. Has anyone here ever brought the Tab 10.1 back directly to Samsung? Has Samsung ever released their official words regarding this matter? Kindly let me know and point me the link to the press release..

Thanks!

My Galaxy Tablet oil mark appeared after being inside a warm car, information from the internet said put it in the fridge for 10 mins so I did and the large oily mark has gone and not returned now over two weeks later.thanks Simon UK:)
