AC Question

One day by chance I discoved the issue was not with my phone, but rather with my car. The bluetooth will only work in the car for phone calls. I know I had bluetooth on when the phone popped up a question asking if I want to use bluetooth or my phone for the navigation. I chose the phone and everything worked fine. Now I have the same isses with maps and ok google searches not working when I am in my car and can't recreate the solution. Can anyone tell me where I can set the navigation and ok Google voice to always work through the phone, neber the car. when I have bluetooth on for phone calls in my car. Do I have to set that every time I need to mavigate somewhere with Google Maps? I am thinking this has to be in chrome somewhere since it affects more than one function and app. My car is a 2015 Mazda 3 series hatchback with no navigation system.

Usually, once you connect with the car, you can open Bluetooth, find your car, tap on it. You should get a settings menu. There you can choose what you want to allow your car to access... Like music only, contacts, messages.
If I want to hear my navigator in my car, I have to be playing music in the phone. If I don't want to listen to music, I pause it, then I just get the navigation voice.
