Ok Google detection issues?

I received the 8.0 update from Verizon last Friday. I am now having issues with hotword detection anyone else experiencing this?

That is too bad! I am sure other users will chime in soon! Though I do not have 8.0, sometimes my "Okay, Google" prompt doesn't always work. Have you tried restarting your phone to see if this was just a random glitch?

Try retraining your voice. I've had this issue before prior to 8.0 and that usually cures it.

Although I've never had an issue, this seems most logical. Great point.

Also make sure your battery saver setting is on the lowest or off.
