OK Google no longer unlocks when charging?

My S7 suddenly stopped working correctly with OK Google command. Within the past day or two, when I plug my phone into the car charger and say OK Google, I get the "Listening" prompt on the screen and I ask "What time is it?". Instead of the friendly lady telling me the current time, I'm now getting the screen that requires me to enter my pin! If I enter my PIN, the friendly lady then tells me the current time. Anyone have a solution?

In your Google Now settings, is "Ok Google" detection set to Always On?
