I have a problem: I installed a ROM (it will be the hundredth...) on my phone (Redmi Note 11Pro 5G) but it is the first time that the OK GOOGLE function does not work with voice activation. if I try by holding down the central button it works correctly but when the screen is on or off, it doesn't activate. tried clearing the cache, uninstalled the updates, all permissions ok, etc. I don't know what to do anymore... do you have any suggestions? Thank you so much, it was the only thing I didn't do (uninstall and install Google again). When the operation is done, it forces me in a way to use Gemini, but at least I'm better than before! Thanks again for the prompt feedback!

So uncheck in play store to automatically update and roll back the update and stay on it until a new version comes out

Thanks, I'll try even if I don't think the reason is this. Let me explain: other users who use the same rom and have no problems with this kind. Probably the Google application abroad , is different.... I try to find an old apk and try. Let me let you know. Thanks again

I see and hope I have solved: through Lucky patcher I uninstalled only for the user, the Google application as well as Gemini. Cleaned with SD Maid and restarted the phone. Installed the July 2024 Google application and it seems to be finally working.To avoid the message from the store telling me that there is an update, I change the signature to APK Tool and I should be done. Hopefully we don't have to bother you anymore. Thanks again for the assistance

I am careful not to update Google and Gemini but strangely, they do it independently. No use uninstalling updates, I can't go back. Truly a mystery. I had previously installed Google February 2024 but I hadn't solved... It seems to be something that randomly causes problems. The developer does not respond....I think I have to surrender even if with immense regret

Maybe with everything you tried now let it settle and see what happens or see if an update fixes this.
