OK Google not working on s8

In the initial few days, Ok Google was working on the s8. Then I installed nova launcher and now, it doesn't worm even when I use touchwiz ad threw home launcher.

Any idea how to fix it?

Since you've gotten over lunchgit Nova launcher on your S8, you have to go into the Nova Launcher settings and reconfigure Google Now for your voice.

Tried that. Not working. Retrained the voice model in Samsung settings and enabled the hotword setting in Nova. Not working

Strange. I use Nova as my launcher and I do not have problems with OK Google. I use it all the time.

I had issues with OK Google detection also and installed the Google Keyboard, made it the default and OK Google is now working. Having Samsung keyboard as the default keyboard was the issue for me.

Nova Launcher settings just take me to the Google settings for OK Google I also switched from the Samsung keyboard to the Google keyboard, neither fixed the getting OK Goggle to work from AOD.

If you set up "trusted devices" to keep your phone unlocked, that is what stops "ok google" from working. Its been that way since the Galaxy S6. Don't know why they don't fix it?! Go to Settings/Lock Screen and Security/Smart Lock/Trusted Devices. Remove your Trusted Devices and it will work again.
