Ok Google

I've started messing with. Ok Google whilst driving & I'm quite impressed. The phone is safely mounted on a cradle, & it's great for opening maps, asking to play music or checking the weather.

What I'd like to know is, can Ok Google be saved as a contact on the phone? So I can access it through the cars stereo.The car is a VW Golf if that makes any difference?

I don't think you can assign an app as a contact.

Unsure as to how that would work?

I thought it would be tricky too. Just my last windows phone allowed you to use Cortana as a contact & I was able to link it to the car car stereo...but not to worry.

Not sure about your car, but in some car, you could hold the Talk button on the steering wheel and it will activate Google Now if you phone is connected to your car's bluetooth.

Yes. My car does exactly this.
