"Okay Google" brings up "Teach the Assistant" window every time!

Hi All,

I recently flashed Android 7.1.1 in my Nexus 6 and then followed instructions in www.supersu.com to flash TWRP recovery image & supersu flashable file through TWRP to root the device. Then I followed instruction in http://android.wonderhowto.com/how-to/get-pixels-google-assistant-working-other-android-devices-0174251/ to get "Google Assistant". All worked fine and Google Assistant would popup when I long press Home button.

Now, whenever I invoke 'Google Assistant', by saying 'Okay Google' from any screen, 'Teach the Assistant' window pops up. No matter how many times I teach it by saying 'Okay Google' 3 times, next time the same 'Teach the Assistant' window is coming. Any fix for this issue?

I think because it was designed for the pixel launcher, or that's all I've uncovered trying to answer the same question
