Okay to charge from 65 amp USB C charger?

Just curious.

My Notebook has a 65 watt Max USB charger. Is the charging setup with USB C smart enough to charge my Galaxy S20+ from this charger? My gut says it should be but I don't want to try it until i am sure.

I've charged my Tab S7 using my MacBook Pro 97w charger on several occasions. The phone/mobile device dictates the charge rate, the rating of the charger is just it's max capability.

Ironically I just realized I didn't charge my phone since yesterday before 6:30 am and it's down to 11%. After reading your message I just plugged it in to the 65w charger no issue.
