Old draft message pops up after a restart

Hi guys,

I have this extremely annoying issue. Whenever I reboot, an old draft message to my sister in law pops up from 2017. I never sent the message and it's been deleted --- I discarded the message at the time. The odd thing is, when I go to messages, it'll show a message I tried to send her from picsart as a preview (I no longer even have picsart). But when I open the message, it's actually a text I started typing her which has nothing to do with picsart. We've exchanged hundreds of messages but this draft keeps popping back up. I've tried deleting it but it always comes back. I'm loathe to delete the whole thread because it has pictures and videos of my nephew. I've attached pictures of the preview and actual message. It's running me insane. I'd appreciate any help or assistance. Thank you.

See what happens if you clear the app cache for both the Messages app and the Message Storage app in Settings>Apps. The latter might not be present, but if it is, you'd have to tap Menu>Show System first.
