Android Central Question
Had the phone for some time and was continuing to use it as a video camera for youtube up until 6 months ago.
Since then it has been laying in the back of a drawer until a week ago when i smashed my S10 to pieces.
Stuck the S7 on charge overnight and then (tried) to fire it up.
It hangs on the "Galaxy, Powered by Android" boot screen for between 10-30 secs, then just makes a short key press type vibrate and then tries to restart again
It just gets stuck in this loop until battery dies!
Further more trying to power up with menu key and volume up key is now near impossible to acheive.
I managed to get it to boot to android just once and i didnt even get the recovery menu, it returned the following at the bottom of the screen:
#fail to open recovery_cause(No such file or directory)#
#Reboot Recovery cause is [UNKNOWN]#
No Support SINGLE-SKU
Filed-Based OTA
Supported API: 3
