No, I don't think that's normal. You'll need to do some sleuthing to try to figure out the issue, though. You might want to download GSAM battery monitor and/or System Panel to see what apps / processes are using cpu.
I also notice in the first shot that the GPS is in use. You might want to look into what's using that. If you've got a bunch of location functions and checkins enabled that can use a lot of battery.
