Old phone's game files to my new HTC One

How do I continue a game on my new ONE when I transferred same app from my old phone (Thunderbolt). I do not want to restart the game from scratch.

I have a file editor, I can cut, move, paste files

Download the app Helium Backup. It let's you backup all of your save data on the old phone, and then when you download it on the new phone, you will have your old data.
