old S note

When I try to add the old S note app it says does not work with your device.
Is that true? thx

It's a totally different app, using a totally different format for the note files, but with the same name. Blame Samsung.

Welcome to Android Central! This is one of the reasons I never use the preinstalled proprietary note-taking app on any phone. Stick with a cross-platform note-taking app like Google Keep Notes or Evernote that won't suddenly become obsolete, and that immediately syncs your notes so that you don't lose them.

Downloaded the latest APK of S Note the old version. Works like a champ!
