So I have never used a screen protector on my phones and have never had an issue. Well a year after having the S22 Ultra pretty heavy use on some parts of the screen I noticed it was getting dirty more easily, and the S Pen seemed to be "dragging". So much that I thought I needed a new S pen tip. That didn't fix the problem.
I lied about the screen protector, if the phone came with the Samsung screen protector, I left it on until it was too ragged then took it off.
So I bought an official Samsung screen protector (it comes 2 in a pack on Amazon) because I did like the feel of them when they came with the phone and applied it today. Once again the screen is smooth as silk with the S pen.
So has anyone ever reapplied oleophobic coating as shown here? https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+Restore+or+Apply+an+Oleophobic+Coating/9682
