On an LG G4, when the home button is pressed, the sound profile reverts to vibrate

My girl friend's phone has stopped ringing. It only vibrates. We set it to sound everywhere, even in the home and away profiles. Yet, as soon as she hangs up the phone, or hits the home button, the vibrate icon reappears. How do we fix this?
