There aren't screen protectors for the Note 8?
I must have missed that.

There are but really hard to find ones that will stick to the curved screen

I have (from Best Buy) along with the pre-order, an Insignia clear soft shell case on order. I have clear hard Speck on my S7 Edge, same on my two previous short-lived Note 7s.
I think the case is actually being delivered 2 weeks ahead of the Note 8.

I've had this clear scratch proof case on my Note 5 for a couple of years and it hasn't yellowed over the years. I'm getting the same one for my Note 8. It also allows me to use the wireless charger.

I can't imagine dropping 1k on this phone and not wrapping it up.
That said, the top and the bottom of the front are all black. So really, unless you're gonna let your phone be naked and vulnerable, phone color's really don't matter.
Because all you'll see is the case.

I see your point...but why date someone who is only good looking with the lights out?
That is why I am getting the color I want (O grey), AND a variety of cases to dress him up.

There will be but because of the curved display they can distort the screen.

I rum naked at work and at home. Only a case when I'm on the move. So color matters to me and wish Samsung had released the Blue one in the US

I typically Rum naked with loved ones and Vodka with cases and strangers. I Wine with colleagues and Beer with friends half and half. Hehe

Joking. I think a case matching the quality of the devices styling and function is most important to me so i usually buy two. One for strength and one for style.

I could not get the blue note8. So i bought the Samsung rugged deep blue case and put the note8 in there. It looks real good.
