On my Samsung Galaxy S6 - why can't I accept or see incoming calls?

samsung galaxy s6 - I cannot accept or see incoming calls

I have a Samsung Galaxy s6 and as of this morning I cannot see when I have an incoming call or accept the call. I only am aware of the incoming call by the ringtone followed by the a missed call being added to the log. I have changed the setting to now let me answer the call by hitting the home key however, I cannot see who Is at the other end of the incoming call. If I make a outgoing call I no longer have the call screen appear. Please help!

Welcome to Android Central! Does that persist after a reboot? If so, then try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21095

GrandPrimes - 2 diff phones - why can't I accept incoming calls?

Same issue here !!! I can see info - but cannot answer. recently purchased 2 Samsung Grand primes. Both have same issue - only issue. Cannot answer ANY Incoming calls. Had them replaced t& same issue. Rebooted / hard & soft. full reset - software updates - nothing works! ONE of the phone did answer an incoming call once when first arrived. Samsung has no solution - my carrier (Tracfone & ATT) says it's the phone. see info / call / number - all calls when trying to answer log as a "Missed call" . Searching online for days. Any assistance appreciated! AND - tried the "Home button to answer call" does not work either.

did not work for my 2 Grand primes - reset - Factory reset - sent for a Replacement - new one. TWO new ones. Nothing works. Cannot "answer" any incoming calls. All calls go to "Missed calls" this is happening on two separate phones. ATT / Tracfone, nor Samsung have an answer. seems like a bug of some sort. Did answer 1 call when originally set up 2 weeks ago. 1 call only. Now both "Missing" all calls. everything else works beautifully?

TODAY's software update fixed the bug! Of all the forums - so many issues i saw, looks like they pushed an update more quickly. Whew! Hope this fixes everyone's issues & they update - just happened on it by accident in a search the update issued about 6 hours ago for my SM-G531 grand prime.
