On/off toggle for N10 is missing on N10+

I have an unlocked Note 10 plus on Sprint. I clicked Settings, searched for "fast ch" clicked on the first result on the list which was "Batter, Fast Charging Cable" Scrolled down to the last thing on that list which was "Fast cable charging" and voila, the on off toggle button is right there.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and I can't find the toggle on and off for the Fast Charging either. I have Sprint.

Go to
1. Settings,
2. Advanced Features
3. Accessories

I have Sprint too and a Note 10 plus.
There it lies right there.

But this thread is about wireless charging, not cable charging.

Its available on my Note10+ purchased directly from Samsung in the UK.

I only really use fast wireless charging if I need a quick boost which is rare.

When you go to device care in settings. Click battery and go to the three dots at the top and click settings. Scroll all the way down to the bottom.View attachment 309780View attachment 309781View attachment 309782View attachment 309783View attachment 309784
It's not there on mine... AT&T Note 10+

I finally got it to appear. The wireless quick charger I was using was a couple years old so I decided to go and buy a Samsung wireless quick charger for one last try and after about 15 seconds on the charger the "Fast Wireless Charging" popped up. I would love to know why Samsung did it this way. Thanks again everyone!

Lol, as was said in several post, you have to put on a fast charger for it to show up!

Guess my Wireless Charger is too old... I'm getting a new one soon anyway but good too know

My next thought was because I got mine at Best Buy

Via cable or wireless charging once the phone is charged it reverts to trickle charging from what I've read. There are only a few specific reasons you would turn off fast charging:
Wired:
- If the phone gets hot (mine has never gotten hot fast charging, I feel this may also be related to cable quality?). Overheating may degrade battery life.

Wireless :
- If your wireless charger doesn't have a fan, the phone WILL, in my experience, get hot. Overheating may degrade battery life. Get a wireless charger with a fan if possible (one caveat, I haven't seen a wireless car charger with a fan, so if I'm not running the a/c which blows directly on my vent-mounted phone, I usually cable charge).

- If your wireless charger does have a fan, you may not want that fan turning on and off all night while you sleep. This is the only time I turn fast wireless charging off.

I charge overnight, leave the fast setting on for cable and sometines off for wireless (fan noise. Had my Note 8 for 2+ years, fast cable charged overnight every night and heavy usage, battery was still fine when I got the 10+.

I always use fast wireless, my charger doesn't have a fan, and my devices have never overheated while charging. even the Note 7 never heated up and never had an issue.

My wireless fast car charger doesn't have a fan and an old desktop wireless fast charger didn't have a fan, but the phone would get hot in those. Never overheated in the desktop charger, but did once in the car. Of course the screen is also on continuously and its using data, location and sometimes the hotspot too (kids ipad) so I can safely say there 8s no time when the 8 was taxed so hard. Plus the dash itself gets hot from the sun, so I'm sure there's some of that too.

Anyway, my point was I don't think overnight charging is an issue. Overheating is an issue for battery life, but that really shouldn't happen often. Still I try to use white cases rather than dark or black.

I only use black cases
I noticed a difference out in the sun with it tethered to a fence taking video. Black case was overheating regularly, white case hasn't in 2 years. Material matters too though - silicone seems to trap heat, regardless of the little grooves they put inside.
