On screen fingerprint works with gloves

Mechanics' latex gloves are very different from surgeons' latex gloves.
I know , I use the both one that doctors use as I have as a customer next door to my shop and always brings me a couple boxes I use for lighter things like oil change and use the other that doesn't tear easily on tires, brakes .

Dont forget I'm a surgeon on cars ;)) tear a automatic trans apart and rebuild that is like a maze or engine rebuild .

When Samsung pushed out the update to the fingerprint scanner, did you delete and recreate your fingerprint entries as strongly recommended by Samsung (to avaoid false readings? If not, I'd suggest you do it now then try the glove again -- it shouldn't work.
I thought the false reads in that scenario was because the FPS was programmed while using a silicone cover so essentially it was bad prints stored.

You're correct, that's another condition where the fingerprints need to be deleted and replaced.

When I removed the factory screen protector, I replaced the fingerprints. Then I did so again after the November update when prompted. Reading my fingerprints is still a touch slow, but much more accurate.

I actually broke my screen on my Note 10+ with prints that were stored with the protector removed. When the screen was replaced it came with the stock protector and the FPS worked fine. I did redo the prints but it worked the same with or without except that I set the sensitivity with the protector on.

These are the gloves I'm talking about

Yes i deleted old fingerprints and than added new ones

A major correction - the fingerprints you are referring to were registered with a cheap screen protector installed and the reader registered the geometric pattern embedded in the screen protector plastic and therefore unlocked with any subsequent fingerprint used. Unless OP registered his/her fingerprint with the gloves on, and unless any other fingerprint can also unlock the phone wearing those latex gloves, than this is NOT the same issue.

There are only two possibilities. Either OP's assertion the fingerprint reader can identify through the gloves is correct, or it just isn't true to begin with. Perhaps someone who has a set of latex gloves lying around can try it and let us know.

I don't have any screen protectors installed.

Do you actually have a reason to think that or are you just guessing? I can't see any reason that the fingerprint sensor on the S10 couldn't work through a latex glove, especially if it's tightly fitted.

Yes it is tightly fitted. Actually it is finger gloves use for gaming for no sweaty thumbs. But i don't understand how it is unlocking my device while wearing it.
