Because I think it's about time we got Lollipop on our phablets, I manually checked for updates. I was excited to see a firmware update was available which took me from HTC6600LVW_3.09.605.2_R-2.16.605.2 to HTC_HTC6600LVW_3.09.605.2_R_3.09.605. Alas, no Lollipop yet.
According to the official HTC website, the One Max update for Verizon is in the "Development Stage" which is stage 1 of 4.
Other reports show the update will come in Q3 of 2015: knowyourmobile-dot-com
I'm thinking that this latest firmware update was issued to "prep" the HTC One Max for Lollipop. Any thoughts?
**Update: today, 7/23/2015, I see an HTC service pack is now available on google play. More coincidence?
