Verizon goes by EST time I think.
My email receipt says pacific time. Now I wait on chat again so they can fix it. I am on hold right now on the phone.

Thus why I'm going to avoid the preorder drama despite the gifts ?!?!
Not for nothing this is the easy part !!
Wait for those " Delivery " threads where everyone is refreshing their browsers every 20 secondd for an update of shipped or out for delivery haaaaa !!!!
On the current Verizon plan it would raise the cost by $20/moI was under the impression that getting a 2 year contract also raised your bill roughly $30 a month. The old math I saw when they first did away with 2 year contracts showed people saved roughly $40 over two years by paying for the phone in full with installments and getting a discount on their service. Also, the 2 year contract charges a $40 activation fee. I'm paying the phone off in full with an American Express Blue Cash Everyday card and I'll get 10% back as a statement credit. But I do wish they'd show the promos, because if the 256 SD card isn't included, that's gonna offset my savings using my card to buy it through Verizon.

I'd be surprised if Samsung doesn't honor the fact that you put in your order on 8/2 vs 8/3. Probably easier to just call Samsung directly and ask them if it's ok if the receipt is dated 8/2. Samsung Promotions
Well the terms and conditions say Aug. 3. My email says the order was placed Aug. 2. Online in my accounts page it says it was placed the 3rd. A really nice rep on the phone is trying to contact Samsung for me.
Ok, so the nice Verizon rep called Samsung and Samsung said there would be no problem. So, I am GOOD TO GO! Got my blue Note 7 with expected ship date 8/19.
OK, Got my Verizon Note 7 in Black preordered. Verizon moved my upgrade date up to today so the Note 7 only cost me $363.00 including tax and a $40.00 upgrade fee. Better than $849.00 My upgrade date was 10/20/2016
I'm off the bed. :-\
I'm looking at my order confirmation email and noticed this:
Share Plan
The new Verizon Plan Large 8 GB
( Device Payment Contract )
–
$96.00
2 GB Additional Data
FREE
Samsung Galaxy Note7 64GB in Black Onyx - 2 GB Additional Data.
BONUS DATA 2GB/MO
Did anyone else get that?
Thanks for sharing those numbers. I have been wondering if there would be any savings gong with the 2 year contract plan price for the phone and the monthly cost of that plan vs buying a phone outright. I know the activation fee can be waived when you purchase at their online site.I was under the impression that getting a 2 year contract also raised your bill roughly $30 a month. $20 a month for 24 months adds up to $480. Add the $299 and it brings it up to $779. Out of curiosity where did you find the $20/month stat (was it on your checkout page)? On the current Verizon plan it would raise the cost by $20/mo
On my legacy nationwide plan, there is no cost increase for going on contract. I pay $24 for 100 gigs of data plus another $15 for voice coverage and get subsidized phones (ie note 7 at $300)

Early this morning Verizon was advertising the free watch or sd card, more there is no mention of it. Verizon drop it?
