So I dropped my Bionic and demolished the screen. I've been looking on Craigslist/E-bay and have found a couple pretty good deals on used phones to get a replacement. However, my question is: Can I simply swap sim cards from my old Bionic to the new Bionic and keep all my contacts/make a smooth transition? Thanks!

I think the sim card in the bionic is just for 4GLTE but I am not for sure, so I think you will still have to go through the deactivate/activate device.

You could always try the Motorola Migrate app.

(And let us know if it works!)

I think the SIM card if for the $g LTE too. Your google account should port all that stuff over I think.

Nope, you just drop the SIM into the phone.
You will need to factory reset the new phone first or make sure that it's in a clean state so that it goes through all the setup and reads the SIM and connects to the network properly.
