One caller cannot hear me

So when I tjng my partners phone he cannot always hear me. Ive run diagnostic rest to see if receiver are working and microphone is OK. All other callers can hea rme fine. Wondering if it's an issue with his device as others seem to hear just fine. Deleted his number and re added seems to work. Don't know what the issue is.

It could be a number of things, but if it works fine when you talk to other people then it's probably on his end. Does he use headphones? Does it happen when he talks to other people too?
