Not the worst I've ever seen but bad. My wife dropped her Thunderbolt out of her purse yesterday.

This is why mine has always been in a silicone case.
She had a case but decided to use the extended battery and hasn't got a case for it.

no case + the big extended battery = destruction
Iv had a case and screen protector on mine since it came out of the box. had a few face down drops on concrete and not even a ding..well except for my cats teeth marks on the upper right hand corner of the bezel
(phones not cat proof just an fyi)
you should see about a replacement.
the galaxy nexus should be coming out soon![]()
good luck
Mine had a spill in June. Just got done running a race, and it was on the kitchen counter (w extended battery) while I went to go get my case for it. My lovely cat decided to drop off the counter and onto the floor. Have a nice two nice cracks towards the top but it is still usable.
Waiting for the nexus to have a non-cracked phone. Anyone want a cracked thunderbolt?
If you're comfortable cracking open the phone for repairs, a replacement TBolt digitizer runs around fifty to sixty bucks.

We have insurance on it. Probably will just spend the $100 and do a claim on it. Offer to find her a different phone on craigslist but she loves her Thunderbolt.

VZW's Asurion insurance does cover cracked screens. What is "indurance"?I was at Verizon yesterday with my daughter which has a cracked screen on her TBolt also. I mentioned to the girl that her screen was cracked. She told me this (which I don't think is true), she said taht indurance won't cover cracked screens....
Women...lol. I haven't dropped a device in over a year
