It's true that the G6 has a higher resolution screen, but that's not actually that useful for gaming... Especially considering it's being pushed by a weaker SoC.

For emulation, the higher resolution is entirely useless and that 2:1 ratio will make 16:9 content have borders, and 4:3 content look even worse than on a 16:9 display.

And for absolute display quality I'd probably give it to the S8 anyway.
